Hennessey unleashes mammoth 1000 package on Ram 1500 TRX Lunar edition

Hennessey Performance, renowned for its high-performance modifications, has just completed its latest project, enhancing the limited-run Ram 1500 TRX Lunar Edition with a range of special components.

This new iteration of the Mammoth 1000 package for the Ram 1500 TRX represents a significant upgrade, pushing the truck’s performance to extraordinary levels. Notably, it’s the first TRX Lunar Edition that Hennessey has worked on, featuring a distinctive Ceramic Grey paint finish accented with black elements across its exterior. The truck has also received an available off-road package, comprising unique front and rear bumpers, a suspension lift, 10-spoke aftermarket wheels shod with 37-inch off-road tires, and LED off-road lights. This Mammoth 1000 package transforms the truck into a formidable, high-performance machine.

Each Ram 1500 TRX equipped with Hennessey’s Mammoth 1000 package benefits from an enlarged 2.65-liter high-flow supercharger, upgraded fuel injectors, and a new high-flow induction system. These enhancements result in a staggering output of 1,012 horsepower and 969 lb-ft (1,313 Nm) of torque from the 6.2-liter V8 engine. Hennessey claims this beast can sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.2 seconds and complete the quarter-mile in 11.4 seconds at a speed exceeding 120 mph (193 km/h). Furthermore, a custom exhaust system ensures that the Mammoth 1000 sounds even more aggressive than the standard TRX.

Earlier this year, Ram introduced the TRX Lunar Edition, featuring the exclusive Ceramic Grey paint and Surf Blue accent stitching in the cabin. It also boasts a carbon fiber interior package, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a spray-in bedliner, cargo tie-downs, and an LED brake light, making it a standout variant in the Ram 1500 TRX lineup.
