In order to secure the IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ award, a vehicle must meet rigorous safety standards, including achieving an acceptable or good rating for headlights across all available lighting options. The Audi Q7, manufactured after February 1, 2023, excelled in this aspect, earning an acceptable or good headlight rating for all three available lighting configurations.

One standout feature contributing to Audi’s safety success is its cutting-edge lighting technology. The Audi Q7 boasts state-of-the-art HD Matrix-design LED headlights, with an option for Audi laser light in the Prestige trim. These laser beams, activated at speeds over 40 mph, significantly enhance visibility by projecting a wide, low beam of light onto the road.
