Isuzu has introduced the updated D-Max in Thailand, featuring exterior redesign, cabin technology upgrades, a new rough terrain mode, and enhanced safety features. The automaker also revealed plans to produce a battery electric pickup in Thailand initially for the European market.

The refreshed Isuzu D-Max, arriving four years after the third-gen model’s debut, boasts a modernized appearance while retaining various body styles. Changes include a redesigned grille, new headlights, and updated bumper intakes. The interior receives new trim options, a 9-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and USB-C ports for front and rear passengers.

While the powertrain lineup remains the same, with two turbocharged diesel options, Isuzu has improved 4×4 performance with enhanced electronics and introduced a “rough terrain mode” for demanding off-road scenarios. Safety features include an ADAS camera with a heating function for cold weather and expanded adaptive cruise control.

Sales of the 2024 D-Max are set to begin on October 12 in Thailand, with global markets following gradually. Isuzu also revealed plans to produce a fully electric pickup in Thailand for the European market, although details and a timeline were not provided.
