A group of industry veterans aims to revolutionize the world of travel trailers with a high-tech, self-propelled electric RV.

A team of former Apple, Cruise, Tesla, and Volvo employees has come together to create the Pebble Flow, a cutting-edge travel trailer set to debut at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. Described as the “most technically advanced travel trailer on the market,” the Pebble Flow aims to provide an “iPhone-like experience to RVing,” with a host of innovative features and a futuristic design.

The Pebble Flow showcases an aerodynamic exterior with clean lines and an expansive glass area, offering a panoramic 270-degree view of the surroundings. Black accents are strategically placed to visually expand the glass area. Additionally, the trailer features an InstaCamp function that, at the push of a button, deploys or retracts an awning, stairs, lights, and auto-leveling stabilizers, allowing for quick setup or departure.

Measuring 25 feet (7.6 meters) in length, the Pebble Flow is equipped with a 45 kWh LFP battery, capable of providing up to seven days of off-grid power. A 1 kW solar panel complements the battery system, enabling continuous access to electricity. The trailer offers both AC and DC charging capabilities and includes a regenerative charging feature that generates power while being towed. When parked at home, the trailer can serve as an emergency power source.

One of the standout features of the Pebble Flow is its dual-motor Active Propulsion Assist System, designed to make towing effortless. The trailer also boasts a Magic Hitch function that allows it to position itself and automatically hitch onto the towing vehicle. For added convenience, the trailer can be driven remotely, making parking and maneuvering in tight spaces easier.

The interior of the Pebble Flow is designed with a minimalist and upscale approach. The trailer includes a four-seat dinette, a “whisper-quiet” climate control system, and a well-equipped kitchen with an induction cooktop, a 4-in-1 convection microwave, and a full-size fridge. The trailer offers sleeping space for up to four people, with one queen bed and one full bed that can transform into a “work-from-anywhere office” complete with a Starlink internet setup. The bathroom is inspired by luxury hotels, featuring a changing glass that goes from transparent to opaque, contemporary fixtures, a shower, and a state-of-the-art macerating toilet. The Pebble Flow also features a “night sky roof panel” for sleeping under the stars and an app for remote control of various trailer functions.

Pricing for the Pebble Flow starts at $109,000, with a range-topping variant available for at least $125,000, which includes a “Magic Pack” with dual-motor powertrain and unique features like Remote Control, Magic Hitch, and Easy Tow. The Pebble Flow is currently available for pre-order, with expected shipments to begin by the end of 2024. A $500 deposit secures a place in line for this futuristic travel trailer.
