ERT Formula E Team undergoes a complete rebrand and will no longer be affiliated with NIO, marking a new chapter in the team’s history.

As Formula E gears up for its 10th season, the NIO 333 Racing team has undergone a significant rebranding, resulting in the team being renamed the ERT Formula E Team. This rebrand marks a new era for the team and includes a change in investor structure. The team has chosen not to disclose the identity of its new investors at this time.

NIO 333 Racing had previously been known as the backmarker team in the Gen2 era of Formula E. However, in the Gen3 era, the team saw a remarkable improvement in performance. Driver Dan Ticktum achieved several top-10 finishes and established himself as a competitive force in the series. Sérgio Sette Câmara also competed for the team during season nine and contributed to the team’s progress.

One of the significant achievements for the team was outperforming both Mahindra-powered teams, Mahindra and ABT CUPRA. Notably, NIO 333 Racing was the only manufacturer on the grid without a customer team.

As part of the rebrand, NIO will no longer have any involvement in Formula E, bringing an end to the Chinese manufacturer’s seven-year presence in the series.

With new investors on board, the ERT Formula E Team has ambitious plans to commercialize its technology and intellectual property (IP) and integrate it into everyday road cars. Additionally, the team aims to continue its efforts in developing sustainable transport solutions.

The rebrand signifies a fresh start for the Silverstone-based squad, and fans are eagerly awaiting the team’s performance in the upcoming season as they embrace a new chapter in their Formula E journey.
