The Venom 775 is Hennessey Performance’s take on a high-performance Ford F-150 with impressive power and a host of upgrades.
Hennessey Performance has revealed the Venom 775, a highly tuned Ford F-150 that outmuscles both the Ford F-150 Raptor R and the Ram TRX. This limited edition pickup truck features several updates and enhancements.
Powering the Venom 775 is a 5.0-liter V8 engine, which, in its stock form, generates 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. Hennessey has taken this powerplant and equipped it with a 3.0-liter supercharger, along with an air-to-water intercooler, resulting in a jaw-dropping 775 horsepower and 727 lb-ft of torque. This upgrade represents a remarkable 94% increase in power and a 77% boost in torque. Additionally, Hennessey has incorporated improvements like enhanced fuel injectors, an upgraded fuel system, and a high-flow air induction system. The vehicle also boasts a new stainless steel cat-back exhaust, reducing back pressure and emitting a powerful V8 sound.
Compared to its competitors, the Venom 775 is truly impressive. While the Ram TRX produces 702 hp and the 2024 Raptor R offers more than 700 hp, the Venom 775 takes the lead with the ability to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds and complete the quarter-mile run in a remarkable 11.9 seconds.
Hennessey CEO John Hennessey referred to the Venom 775 as the ultimate sleeper truck with the capability to outperform TRX and Raptor R owners. He emphasized that their upgrade delivers exceptional performance without compromising the F-150’s legendary capabilities and is compatible with premium trim levels, allowing for a luxurious experience.
The Venom 775 isn’t just about straight-line performance; it features a six-inch lift kit for increased ground clearance and upgraded suspension to ensure stability across all surfaces. The vehicle also boasts 20-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch off-road tires and multi-piston Brembo brakes to enhance stopping performance.
In terms of appearance, the Venom 775 distinguishes itself with a new ‘Hennessey Venom’ front bumper, power-operated running boards, illuminated front badges and fender vents, as well as Hennessey decals on the rear fenders, front doors, and tailgate.
Inside, the changes are minimal, with model-specific Venom 775 badging and ‘Hennessey’ logos embroidered on the headrests. Hennessey plans to produce just 250 units of the Venom 775 every year. The price of the vehicle has not been disclosed, but it does come with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty from Hennessey, providing peace of mind for buyers.
