Renowned Designer Niels Van Roij Unveils Subtle Visual Mods and Custom Wheels
The smallest offering from Volvo, the EX30, has received a stylish makeover from Dutch tuner Everlast. Renowned automotive designer Niels Van Roij, co-owner of Everlast, curated two distinct editions—the “Sport” and “Outland”—featuring subtle visual enhancements and corresponding sets of wheels.
Volvo EX30 Sport Edition: Sporty Sophistication
The EX30 Sport Edition boasts body-colored cladding and roof, adorned with orange accents for a sporty flair. Everlast offers a choice between 21-inch alloy wheels in either four-spoke or six-spoke designs, complementing the lowered suspension showcased in preview renderings.
Volvo EX30 Outland Edition: Adventurous Appeal
The Outland Edition draws inspiration from the factory-spec Cross Country trim, featuring matte black decals on the front fascia, hood, and between the taillights. The addition of subtle wheel arch extensions and green accents enhances the SUV’s adventurous aesthetic. The model rides on new 19-inch four-spoke wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, elevating its off-road capabilities.
Performance Unchanged:
Everlast retains the original electric powertrain of the EX30, which offers either a single rear-mounted electric motor producing 268 hp or a dual-motor AWD setup with 422 hp. The most potent version accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and provides a WLTP range of 286 miles, thanks to the 69 kWh NMC battery pack.
Pricing and Availability:
Both the Sport and Outland Editions are priced at €9,540 ($10,536), covering the cost of decals, custom paint, wheels, and tires. For those seeking only the wheels, the 19-inch designs are available at €795 ($878) each, while the sportier 21-inch options cost €895 ($988) each.
