DAMD Unveils Rally-Inspired Body Kits for Suzuki Jimny at Tokyo Auto Salon 2024

Japanese tuner DAMD continues its tradition of revamping the Suzuki Jimny with retro-inspired body kits, revealing two new designs set to debut at the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon. This year, DAMD’s theme focuses on the “European Masterpiece,” collaborating with renowned Italian wheel manufacturer Oz Racing. Drawing from iconic 1980s rally cars, the new kits bring a touch of European rallying heritage to the Suzuki Jimny.

Little 5: Renault 5 Turbo Inspiration

Directly inspired by the Renault 5 Turbo, the Little 5 body kit is a nod to the French vehicle’s iconic design.
Features include rectangular headlights, a matching radiator grille, and amber fog lights, all echoing the distinct features of the Renault 5 Turbo.
A playful touch by DAMD is the label “Non Turbo” prominently displayed on the side, ensuring no confusion about its turbocharged status.
The transformation is completed with a small spoiler positioned above the rear door, enhancing the rally-inspired look.

Little Δ (Delta): Lancia Delta Integrale Inspiration

Drawing inspiration from the legendary Lancia Delta Integrale, the Little Δ body kit offers a more aggressive rally-inspired transformation.
The design replicates the four circular headlights and rectangular yellow fog lamps of the Lancia Delta Integrale.
A distinctive split radiator grille mirrors the original vehicle, adding authenticity to the design.
Highlighting its racing heritage, the Little Δ is adorned with a central racing stripe and a prominent rear wing mounted on the roof, capturing the spirit of rally racing.
Both kits feature body-color painted fenders, enhancing the cohesive look and feel of the designs. Since the introduction of the current-generation Jimny, DAMD has annually released retro body kits, continually innovating and captivating automotive enthusiasts with their unique transformations.
