Hyundai-Owned Mobis Teases Futuristic Concept and 20 Innovations Ahead of CES 2024

Rolling Laboratory Showcases Advanced Technologies, Including e-Corner System and Transparent Display

Hyundai-owned Mobis is set to make waves at CES 2024 with the unveiling of a futuristic concept and the showcase of 20 cutting-edge innovations. While details about the concept remain under wraps, the teaser suggests a design that blurs the lines between hatchbacks and crossovers, with a distinctive front end adorned with numerous LED accents.

One standout feature on display is the e-Corner technology, previously demonstrated by Hyundai in 2023. This system allows all four wheels to turn by 90 degrees, enabling a car to slide sideways into parking spaces—a potential game-changer for parking maneuvers. The CES presentation will shed light on any updates or modifications made to the e-Corner system and its potential path to production.

Mobis is placing a significant emphasis on driver and passenger information presentation. A highlight of the presentation is a see-through display spanning the dashboard, integrating the instrument cluster and infotainment system.
