Chevrolet Brazil Promises ‘Biggest Evolutionary Leap’ with Restyled Front, Upgraded Interior, and Advanced Safety Features
Chevrolet has officially announced the upcoming launch of the 2025 Chevrolet Spin in Brazil, positioning it as a substantial evolution in the minivan segment. Set to debut as a facelift rather than an entirely new generation, the Spin boasts redesigned front aesthetics, an elevated crossover stance, modern technological enhancements, and a revamped chassis for improved performance in the three-row minivan category.
The 2025 model, labeled as the “biggest evolutionary leap” for the Spin, showcases a redesigned front end with a more intricate bumper design and full-LED headlights visually connected to the upper grille. Plastic cladding and increased ground clearance contribute to the minivan’s enhanced crossover appearance. While maintaining a familiar profile and greenhouse, the exterior updates aim to keep the Chevrolet Spin contemporary in its segment.
Inside, the Spin undergoes a technological transformation with a modern digital instrument cluster seamlessly integrated with a higher-mounted 11-inch touchscreen. The touchscreen features the Chevrolet MyLink multimedia system, OnStar, Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities, and over-the-air update compatibility. Chevrolet promises the Spin will offer the “most comprehensive set of safety equipment” in its segment, with specific details yet to be revealed. The minivan will be available in both five-seater and seven-seater configurations.
Beyond cosmetic changes, Chevrolet engineers have made performance-oriented upgrades, including a tweaked suspension with a slight lift, recalibrated powertrain, and steering adjustments. While exact specifications are pending, local reports suggest the continuation of the existing 1.8-liter four-cylinder flex-fuel powertrain.
The official debut of the 2025 Chevrolet Spin is scheduled for the end of March at the Big Brother show. This facelifted model represents one of the “six major launches” planned by Chevrolet Brazil for 2024. Apart from the Brazilian market, the Chevrolet Spin is available in other countries, including Argentina, the Philippines, and Thailand.
